JANAS has joined the group of companies with quality and food safety certificates. Thanks to IFS and BRC certificates, we guarantee international nutritional standards. They confirm that our products are of the highest quality and safety. The elements of the company's food quality and safety system are documented, implemented, maintained and continuously improved. This was confirmed by an independent Italian certification body - CSQA. As the improvement process in our company is a continuous activity, we undergo audits every year, because certificates are issued for a period of 12 months.

 

What is BRC Global Standard - Food?

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) developed in 1998 Standards and Procedures for companies supplying private label food to British hypermarkets. Currently, the new edition of BRC No. 6/2011 is in force. This standard is known not only throughout Europe, but also on other continents. The BRC standard sums up the requirements of ISO 9001, Codex Alimentarius, GMP and GHP and defines the requirements that must guarantee safety and the required, repeatable quality level of the finished product. An additional element that attracts a lot of attention is the compliance of the product with food law.

What is the International Food Standard (IFS)?

Supplier audits have been a constant part of cooperation in trade and industry for many years. Increasing demands on the part of consumers, the growing risk of claims for damages and the globalization of the circulation of goods have made it necessary to create a uniform standard of quality assurance. On the basis of this finding, companies affiliated to HDE - the German Main Retail Trade Association, the FCD Fédération des Entreprises du Commerce et de la Distribution and the Italian Retail Trade Unions CONAD, COOP and Federdistribuzione have created a standard for quality and safety of foodstuffs related to private labels. commercially, International Food Standard. It serves the purpose of uniform control of the safety of foodstuffs and the quality level of producers.
